Environmental and economic sustainability in the SF Commercial Properties Fund

Renovations with a focus on sustainability characterize the current investment activities in the SF Commercial Properties Fund. Two properties were connected to the local district heating networks. In addition, numerous lease extensions confirm the positive influence of the long-standing, partnership-based tenant relationships.

Further information:

St. Gallen, Zürcherstrasse 493

The extensive measures in the building and the technology amounting to CHF 3.14 million improve the quality of the property and support the measures for the ongoing optimization of the fund's sustainability. Following the partial renovation of the façade, windows and roof, a large-scale photovoltaic system was put into operation and the property was connected to the district heating system.

Lyss, Industriering 17

With the commercial property at Industriering 17 in Lyss, with around 13,000 m2 of rental space, a further property was connected to the local district heating network. This measure is part of the portfolio management's consistent sustainability efforts. It was coordinated with the property's general tenant, Planzer Transport AG, and an extension of the index-linked rental agreement for a further five years was agreed at the same time.

Meisterschwanden, Industriestrasse 6

In Meisterschwanden, ESTECH Industries AG has extended its lease for 4,487 m2 until 2040.

Allschwil, Gewerbestrasse 25

In Allschwil, an agreement was reached with the tenant Canton Baselland to extend the contract for 436 m2 of office space for a further five years.

Castione, via San Gottardo 18a

In Castione, the company Home & Stone Living, which specializes in high-quality interior design, extended its lease for around 300 m2 of retail space for a further five years.
