Our corporate strategy focuses on three ambitions that set the course for our company:

  • Together with its fund management company and securities firm, the independent SFP Group specialises in the entire value chain of real estate and infrastructure investments

  • Combination of real estate and financial market expertise

  • Sustainable and steady growth in assets under management

ESG Strategy

We visualise our sustainability strategy as a house, with the foundations representing our core values:

  • Exemplary corporate governance

  • Compliance with laws and regulations

  • (Climate) risk management

  • Ethical conduct as a company

  • Integrity and transparency

Materiality Matrix of the SFP Group

We conducted a materiality analysis to identify the sustainability topics that are important to us and are now basing our sustainability strategy on these topics.

Economy

We continuously optimise efficiency and synergy potential in order to increase our economic performance and ensure the long-term impact of our sustainability activities. We have identified the sustainability issues that are important to us as part of a materiality analysis and are building our sustainability strategy on this basis.

As we want to live up to our responsibility and actively contribute to a maintainable future, all our business areas centre around sustainability. This allows us to meet the requirements of clients as well as investors and promotes their financial successes.

Sustainable growth and stable returns ensure the continued existence of our company. We can only operate sustainably if we generate satisfactory returns for our investors.

We exercise shareholder rights on behalf of investors. In doing so, we take into account verifiable sustainability criteria and thus make a positive contribution.

Relevant Sustainability Targets

Decent work and economic growth,
SDG 8

Environment

We focus on energy efficiency in order to save costs, strengthen our market position and secure our long-term business success.

The net-zero target for 2050 is to be achieved primarily by replacing fossil fuels with non-fossil energy sources, expanding photovoltaic systems and renovating buildings to improve their energy efficiency.

By promoting the circular economy, the SFP Group can help to curtail the consumption of resources and materials, reduce the production of waste and thus protect the environment.

Relevant Sustainability Targets

Affordable and clean energy,
SDG 7
Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all.
Climate action,
SDG 13
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.

Social Responsibility

In addition to open communication, social responsibility for us also encompasses ethical behaviour, fair terms and conditions of business and respect for human rights.

As an attractive employer, we want to attract skilled employees and keep them working for the Group in the long term, because they are key to our business success. We not only offer good working conditions, but also opportunities for further professional training. We wish to integrate all employees more strongly into our business processes and delegate more responsibility and decision-making powers to them.

Thanks to their broad knowledge base, diverse teams can take well-founded decisions and help the company to become more adaptable. That is why equal opportunities and the inclusion of all persons and genders are self-evident to us. We distance ourselves from all discriminatory acts. We actively foster diversity and inclusiveness and reflect these at all stages: during the recruitment process, in employment and in all management decisions.

We create added value for our tenants by optimising our portfolio in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria. When carrying out construction and renovation projects, we attach great importance to the maximum possible comfort of interior rooms.

An attractive yield and rents in line with the market are important factors when it comes to satisfying investors, clients and tenants. The SFP Group stands for a direct exchange and sophisticated services. We also see our comprehensive commitment to sustainability as an investment in client orientation; growing numbers of investors and tenants view acting sustainably as a condition for a stable partnership.

It is a company's corporate culture and values that make it unique and describe how people treat one another every day and what is important to the company. We attach great importance to an open dialogue. People's loyalty and satisfaction are determined by their experiences at the company.

Employees and line managers discuss individual development opportunities and performance during annual performance appraisal interviews. We promote internal and external opportunities for further education in specialist and social topics for all employees at all functional levels. This is how we sustainably support professional and personal development.

Governance

The organisational anchoring of corporate governance and compliance ensures fairness and accountability, effectively manages legal risks and safeguards the interests of all stakeholders.

Companies today are the focus of public attention in their capacity as market players as well as part of society. If a company appears to be even slightly non-compliant, it risks sanctions, financial losses and damage to its reputation.

Our business activities expose us to many different financial and non-financial risks. It is part of our business model to take carefully selected risks for ourselves or our customers.

Data protection and information security are key issues in this age of advancing digitalisation. The protection of personal data (data protection) is central to this. By ensuring data protection and information security, the SFP Group protects the privacy of all its stakeholders.
