EHL students present project results for the SFP Group

News

On 11 June 2026, a team of students from the renowned EHL Hospitality Business School in Lausanne presented the results of their Student Business Project for the SFP Group, thereby successfully completing the project.

Over the past few months, we have had the pleasure of working with a highly motivated and talented group of EHL students on a strategic market development project for the Swiss Finance & Property Group.
Together with our CEO, Adrian Murer, and representatives from Client Relationship Management, the foundations for the coming weeks were laid during a kick-off meeting on 15 April 2026.
As part of the Student Business Project, students took on real-world consultancy assignments and, within a short space of time, developed concrete, actionable solutions to business challenges. EHL is renowned for its excellent education, international outlook and in-depth expertise – particularly in the fields of hospitality, service excellence and strategic business development.
At the SFP Group, these skills meet an internationally oriented organisation that actively seizes opportunities in global markets and drives sustainable growth. The combination of academic know-how and practical experience fosters a valuable collaboration that provides fresh impetus for both sides.

On 11 June 2026, the team presented its final report and the recommendations derived from it.
For us at the Swiss Finance & Property Group, this collaboration was a valuable opportunity to combine academic perspectives with practical industry experience and, through fresh, independent approaches, to critically examine our own assumptions.

On 17 July 2026, we were delighted to welcome the majority of the team to our offices at the Swiss Finance & Property Group in Zurich to thank them in person for their excellent work and to review the results together once again.

Particularly pleasing: the team was awarded second place at the EHL for this project – a fantastic testament to the quality of their work and the dedication the students have shown over the past few weeks.

A big thank you to the entire student team for their exceptional dedication and hard work throughout the project. It has been a great pleasure to have been part of your success story!
Special thanks also go to Patrice Dartevelle and the EHL team for their outstanding support and guidance, as well as to our CEO Adrian Murer, who supported the initiative as executive sponsor, thereby impressively underlining the importance of collaboration between academia and industry.
