On 3 June 2026, we were delighted to host the SFP International Real Estate Day 2026, welcoming clients, partners, and industry experts for an engaging discussion on the opportunities and outlook for global real estate investments. The event featured current market insights, in-depth specialist presentations, and a panel discussion on the prevailing investment environment.

  • Daniel Kuenzi, Head Product Management & Development at Swiss Finance & Property Group, highlighted the importance of global real estate within institutional portfolios and explained its contribution to diversification.
  • Benjamin Boakes, Senior Portfolio Manager at Swiss Finance & Property Group, provided a comprehensive market update and demonstrated why the fundamentals of many global real estate sectors remain robust despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties.
  • Lars Ohnemus, Co-Founder & Chairman of Northern Horizon Group, shared valuable insights into the senior housing sector and illustrated how demographic trends are creating attractive long-term investment opportunities.

The subsequent panel discussion featured Thomas Breitenmoser (Complementa AG), Zoltan Szelyes (Macro Real Estate AG), Lars Ohnemus, and Benjamin Boakes. Moderated by Benjamin Nauer, the panel explored the opportunities that have emerged in global real estate markets following the recent market adjustment. The discussions clearly demonstrated why global real estate continues to be an attractive asset class: from diversification benefits and attractive valuations to strong structural growth drivers across sectors and regions. We would like to thank all participants for joining us and for the stimulating discussions. We look forward to continuing the dialogue.
