Dear clients, dear business partners
The impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is omnipresent, even here at SFP Group, prompting us to feel concerned and take measures. The virus is disrupting our day-to-day lives and triggering market volatility. Yesterday, the situation in Switzerland and Europe has escalated further. The Swiss Federal Council has therefore declared an “extraordinary situation.”
SFP Group aims to inform you with this letter that we are doing everything within our power to preserve the interests of our clients and counterparties even amid uncertain times.
SFP Group is unconditionally supporting government authorities in their significant battle against the coronavirus. We are following the measures of the Federal Council as well as recommendations of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) in our business activities.
SFP Group has taken all the requisite measures in order to ensure and maintain business continuity. Our employees also have access to all systems from home offices. We can provide our clients and business partners with the complete assortment of services as usual even during these turbulent weeks. In particular, clients and business partners can execute all securities transactions with SFP Group. Our employees will remain accessible for information and advisory services via telephone and e-mail too.
SFP Group has taken immediate action to keep the risks for you and us as minimal as possible. For instance, we are replacing the usual, popular presentation of the Annual Report with a livestream version and opportunities for asking questions, together with providing the documents on the website.
SFP Group’s employees are foregoing all travel until further notice. We are cancelling all events and replacing these with digital forms of communication.
We are convinced that you will find our measures understandable amid these extraordinary times. But rest assured: Our core services remain unaffected.
SFP Group boasts a sustainable ownership structure and strong capital base. These pillars pave the way for adopting a long-term perspective as well as focusing on our strategy and fulfilling our clients’ desires in any market environment. We are continuing to closely monitor the situation and actively looking out for market opportunities too.
We are hoping that all of us can now show the farsightedness required for coping with the restrictions in the coming weeks and, in any event, maintain the necessary resistance against this virus.
Stay healthy!
