What has been worked towards for years is now becoming visible: after the scaffolding has been removed, the MACH building can be seen for the first time in its full appearance. The façade is unobstructed, and the project can now be experienced as a completed property.
MACH is more than just a new building. On the KOCH site in Zurich, a purely commercial building is being developed with flexible spaces for office, production, and creative uses. What makes it special: tenants design their interior fit-out themselves. Thanks to the high ceilings, highly individual solutions are created, perfectly tailored to specific needs. In the video, the project stakeholders, SENN as well as Matthias Flückiger from SFP AST Swiss Real Estate, the future owner, share their insights. They highlight the close collaboration between all parties involved and show how important exchange—both among themselves and with tenants and the local business community—is for the project’s success.
From an investment perspective, MACH is also a milestone. With its integration into the SFP AST Swiss Real Estate portfolio at the end of the year, it represents the largest acquisition within the investment group at around CHF 90 million. The property impresses with its strong earnings, long-term lease agreements, and its SNBS Platinum sustainability certification.
