Ehrendingen, Im First 6/10 – Energy-efficient Refurbishment

News

The fully let property in Ehrendingen with 18 flats is located near Baden, was built in 1987 and has been owned by the SF Sustainable Property Fund since 2015.

An energy-efficient refurbishment is currently being carried out to increase energy efficiency. Since August 2023, all windows have been replaced, the basement ceiling insulated and a photovoltaic system installed. This energy-efficient refurbishment will achieve a GEAK rating of class C. Energy efficiency can also be significantly increased in future by replacing the heating system with a heat pump or connecting to a district heating network.

The appearance of the property will also be upgraded by replacing the balcony railings and repainting the façade. The total investment costs amount to just under CHF 1 million, with the work taking place while the building is occupied and will continue until the end of 2023.
